Myanmar

Myanmar (also known as Burma) is a nation ravaged by civil war that has displaced millions and has created immense humanitarian needs. Millions are impacted by hunger, and the civil war has resulted in a crisis of orphans who have lost one or both parents. Rural areas have been affected the most, with frequent bombing destroying villages and displacing the people.

Henry is making a difference. Born in poverty, Henry’s parents died when he was two years old. He grew up as an orphan, unable to attend school until he was ten years old. Henry graduated the university in Myanmar. He now leads three orphanages serving children who lost their parents in the civil war, and he directs humanitarian efforts in his country.

We are thankful to partner with Henry, assisting in humanitarian outreach, encouraging leaders, and supporting projects for the orphans.
